Vann Davis, Jr. and his wife, Mary, founded Davis Funeral Service, Inc. as second careers, on the principle that they wanted to provide a ministry of caring to all who called in their time of greatest need. They believed everyone was entitled to a dignified, reverent, and respectable funeral service. That same approach to honoring life is how Stanly Funeral Home has operated since its inception in 1902. Our commitment to compassionate service to the people who call on us at one of the toughest times of life. The name of the funeral home may have changed, but the commitment to serving families from all walks of life with excellence, integrity and compassion remains the same.
